Review by Felice Gerwitz, well known author of MediaAngels Unit Studies:Dear Kym,Well, my friend you have surpassed yourself. I've been reading the copy you sent of the Woman's Bible study and I love it... Every chance I get to sit I read it, in the tub and all! I think it is a must read for every mom and especially homeschool moms. It is fantastic. I'm already on page 132 I'm not doing it the way it's designed. This first reading I want to read each of the Chapters in the main book then go back and do it as a Bible study in my "planned" time. I have an upcoming workshop to do with some friends on child discipline and will show them this book. I will highly recommend it to those in our group. I showed it to [the wife of a book vendor] and she has asked [her husband] to order 10 sets of the Bible Study (who in turn asked me to email you for the Bible study as he has 2 conferences the next two week-ends) I am going to write a "blurb" recommending them and he will hang it up next to the books at his table. I'm very excited about this. I know of many moms who homeschool and nuture their kids as a direct result from the leading from the Lord, that gentle voice. Yet, many do not have their hearts into it and look to highschool years to put their kids "back" in school. I believe this book will change their hearts and show them the joys of motherhood. I've said "Amen" to everything you've written thus far. I do have some input. I don't know that a "Bible Study" is the best word to describe this book... It is definitely a study of God's Word as it applies to Women but when you said you were writing a Bible Study I thought it was one for kids... a study of the Scriptures in general. or for women... A study of the Scriptures in general for adults. It is truely a seeking of God's word and how it applies to Motherhood. I don't know of any other way to say it, just feel it doesn't describe it in a way that will make people race for it. It's like a Mommy Primer. The book every mother should do when she is expecting her first! Better run. Again heartfelt thanks for the wonderful gift. It came at just the right time when I have time to read and savor every word! Love, Felice Gerwitz, homeschooling mom, author (MediaAngels) Review by Sandi Krakowski, published author and homeschooler:What a title! LIVING LIFE ON PURPOSE! I wish someone had given me a book like this when
I first got married. When we as christian women do not live life on purpose, we can end up
doing more harm than we realize. The days we are entrusted with children, the years we
have to serve our husbands as wives and helpmeets are filled to the brim! Oftentimes,
before we know it- years have gone by and we look back and wonder what we have done to
bring glory to God. Living merely by survival is not my opinion of success! Kym has done
an excellent job of teaching some very important principles about living life to the glory
of God and actually DOING what we desire! Goals are one thing- anyone can set them, but if
you can L-I-V-E them, then you have brought glory to God. Knowing when to change goals,
when to adjust expectations and when to abandon to the call of God over the will of the
flesh-this is living life on purpose.
